Bishop Lewis tours tornado damaged areas

On Monday, April 10, Bishop Sharma D. Lewis. resident bishop of The Mississippi Episcopal area, along with Rev. Vickie White, Director of Connectional Ministries and Communications, Rev. Tim Thompson, Director Faith Community Formation/Assistant to The Bishop, Rev. Frank Newell MS conference associate director for UMCOR and UMVIM, Rev. Fred Britton, Tupelo District Superintendent, and Wesley Partin, Tupelo District Disaster Relief Coordinator, toured the areas that were impacted by the devastating storms on March 24, 2023.  They met with pastors from some of our hardest hit churches and viewed the extensive damage. Please continue to pray for our brothers and sisters who will feeling the effects of the damage for years to come.
