General Conference 2024

The Commission on the General Conference has announced that the 2024 United Methodist General Conference will be held April 23 to May 3, 2024, at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. General Conference is the top policy-making body of The United Methodist Church. The assembly meets at the beginning of each quadrennium to consider revisions to church law, as well as adopt resolutions on current moral, social, public policy and economic issues. It also approves plans and budgets for church-wide programs for the next four years. Delegates from Africa, Europe, Asia and the U.S. will attend the 11-day gathering, which is expected to attract about 5,500-7,500 people.
